Near Mac University and Mohawk Fennel

All are welcome to inquire, but in particular attention students: Located a short bus ride to Mac or Mohawk (Fennell Campus) in the downtown core. Minutes from everything, and on street permit parking available. Clean home, 20+ year landlords, backyard with furniture and bbq’s. Kitchen supplied with everything you could imagine. Three laundromats within a 10 minute walk. The house has central air, and a reasonably new furnace. All utilities/high speed internet and Netflix are included. Although everyone is entitled to guests, have fun - this is not a party house. Smoking is outside - year round. This is not a flop house nor “my significant other” stays overnight repeatedly. It’s a mid size bedroom w/twin bed, closet, and desk (removable) and dresser. Ideal for a student, and half the price of the Mac student housing around the corner.

I’m AL - It’s my home, my lease. You are a guest in my home. There is a contract to review and sign to protect everyone involved - including you. No one has ever taken exception to it. The last student that just moved out, was here for 3 years. The current roommate in the attic has been here for four years. I have been doing the roomie thing for over 20 years and I know what works and what doesn’t. There are 3 of us that live here, no more and no less. We all pretty much keep to ourselves anyhow. It’s a fair sized house, three is a comfortable number. There is a guest room for overnight or out of town visitors…both of which are rare. The one guy (been here four years/he’s in his 20s) works full time, and keeps to himself when home. I’m middle aged, work part time and pretty much keep to myself as well…though I’m certainly not opposed to a porch pint/conversation. The house is kept clean routinely and it’s expected that you to clean up after yourself at all times. The bathroom is “detailed” once a month by yours truly, and everyone is to try to keep it that way in-between. The general house rule is we try to keep things quiet from 11 pm to 7 am. This is of course flexible if someone (you) is on a night shift or studying for exams. A short term stay is ok… but ideally, I’m looking for someone longer term.
