Room Info
Room is semi-private; there is a curtain to section it off from the living room, but the other roommates do not really go in there much so it is a pretty private space. Room is about 14’ x 14' with hardwood floors and lots of outlets. There is no closet, so please bring a dresser or clothing rack (or both!). Room is on the 2nd floor of a three-floor home. Rent is $667, which includes utilities. Rent does increase each year, but not by much (I think last time was like another $20?). Lease in month-to-month with a $600 deposit.
House Info
Must be a clean, fairly quiet roommate. Some of us are working from home and need a quiet environment to work, so please be respectful of this. There are 4 other roommates living in the home (all women). We prefer to stick with another woman/woman-identifying. There is a 1/2 bathroom off the kitchen which is technically communal, but whoever is in that room can put their belongings in there w/o issue. Shower is on the third floor. There are 2 cats living there so please, no more animals. If you have a car, there is street parking available, as the garage spots are already taken. Kitchen and living room are communal (please try not to bring any kitchen stuff since we have a ton!). It is at the top of a hill, in case that matters 🙂
Neighborhood Info
House is in Visitacion Valley, right next to the 101 on-ramp and a 5 minute walk to the 8, 9, and K lines. There are a few cafes in walking distance, but shops and things like that are about 1/2 mile away. Street is pretty quiet (despite being right off of Bayshore Blvd), with very nice, friendly neighbors.
