I was the first person in Cape Coral, Fl. to list my rooms on Air BnB. On Air BnB, I met people from all over the World. I was a Super Host for many years on this site.
My house was destroyed by Ian, but it is slowly coming back bigger and better. I am a Senior Citizen who loves meeting people, entertaining, playing games My history includes many interesting and fun jobs, plus I was the owner of our family bar/restaurant located in Philly area. At present I work from home. Most of my work is on line renting and selling properties. For the last ten plus years, I am a registered Realtor in SW Florida. I have many connections in Cape Coral and Fort Myers. I love playing and working in SW Florida.
I do not tolerate drugs, vaping, or smoking in my home. I am open to smoking, etc., outside in the backyard only. 420 Friendly.
My roomies are usually of all ages, races, religions, etc. I do not discriminate and will not put up with Political or racial hatred no matter what your views are. I was raised a Democrat and moved to Florida many years ago. I am now Republican. Please do not apply here if this affiliation is a problem for you. I am looking for happy, respectful, polite, roomies. You are responsible to keep your own room clean. This includes bedding, trash, etc. The bathroom is shared, and each renter is responsible to keep it clean after each use. Food cannot be left in your rooms , it must be removed and put in the trash. Florida is buggy and fruit rats love to try to invade our homes here. My house is bug and rat free. Ants are very popular during dry season. All specks of food must be wiped from all counter tops. IF you have a dog, you must not leave good lying around your room. Water and food must be changed daily and all areas swept and mopped clean. Pest Away comes to my house on a monthly basis and sprays all the rooms. Rooms must be kept open so he can do his job. We usually have a 24 hour notice.
All chemicals are pet and people safe.

Cape Coral is growing by leaps and bounds. There are at least eight to ten new restaurants, bars and bars in the area. Sightseeing, theaters, winter baseball training, fishing, golf, ice hockey, shopping, boating, scuba diving, Dolphin and Manatee tours, parades, including our famous Boat Parade for the Holiday Season. The famous Calendar Girls of SW Florida now have documentaries on Netflix and Prime TV. Some airlines have shown their documentaries.
Short term rentals are possible, but rates will go up. Depending on the time of year that you wish to book.
