I'm (almost) 25 and have lived in NYC for 2.5 years, mostly in Crown Heights. I work roughly 9-5 at a tech startup in Union Square. I'm into cooking, gardening, sustainability, biking, and traveling. We don't have to be best buds but like a roommate who's down to hang in the apartment on occasion.
I'm clean in common areas and expect my roommate to be the same. I'm not a neat freak but expect dishes to be taken care of timely and equal share in dealing with trash, recycling, and keeping grime/dust to a minimum.
I have a cat, she's older and vocal but very loving. She mostly stays in my room along with her food and litter box. She never scratches or bites humans but does to other animals so unfortunately, she has to be the only pet. She also doesn't hop up on tables or any high furniture.
No gender preference. LGBTQ friendly. Prefer someone my age or a bit older, but open to anyone over 21.

My two roommates are moving out. One is moving in with her boyfriend Feb 15th (room 2) and the other is moving out sometime in March. 1-year lease starts April 1st.
Room 1 $885 - available Feb 15th

The apartment has a small shared living room and a separate galley kitchen with updated appliances and new cabinetry, stone countertops and a dishwasher. Living room is furnished and I have the majority of needed supplies for the kitchen.
Bedrooms/hallways/living room have hardwood floors.
Bedrooms are spaced out throughout the apartment.
There's a new washer and dryer! It's in a closet in the hall by the bathroom. There are three communal closets in apartment.
Location: 7min walk to A/C trains at Nostrand ave. 10 min walk to 3 train at Nostrand. Near many cool bars and some grocery stores. Open community garden on the block that I am apart of!
