Hello! I love trying new restaurants, exploring new neighborhoods, hosting game nights, and watching reality TV. My hobbies include baking, gaming, painting, and gardening. I am a part time grad student at Virginia Tech and work full time as an Environmental Scientist. I work remotely about 95% of the time. Right now I am trying to eat healthier and work out more - would be great to find a person who can hold me accountable and be a gym buddy (But that's not a deal breaker lol). I do have two sweet cats, Gingersnap and Jefferson, who can be shy at first but love to play and snuggle. I love plants and have many different indoor and outdoor plants. I am looking for a roommate to join me in my 2B2B in NoMa. This apartment has amazing windows in both bedrooms and the living that looks out onto our private patio in a private courtyard. The room available easily fits a queen sized bed, bed side tables, a dresser, desk, and chair. The room is connected to a large walk in closet and bathroom. Each bedroom has its own thermostat. The apartment is equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freeze, microvalve, and oven. The apartment is carpeted with the exception of the kitchen and bathrooms. The apartment building has two private courtyards (one has grills), roof top pool, two floor gym, clubroom, conference room, mail room, and dog park. Please note that since I have two cats I would rather not add anymore pets; however, I am open to discussing adding another friendly cat. The building has fall-service, 24-hour conciergerie and private parking options. The apartment building is located on the same block as the NoMa metro stop (redline) and right above a Harris Teeter. CVS is across the street and the surrounding area is full of restaurants. It is about a 9 minute walk to Trader Joes and a 15 minute walk to Union Market. The base rent will be about $3,000 before utilities, parking is an additional fee of $200-300. I have lived here for two years and have absolutely loved it. Sadly, my roommate has to move out and I would really love to keep this apartment. Please contact me if you are interested!
