Hi! My name is Kayla and I am moving to NYC for a new job after earning a master's degree in environmental policy and urban planning. I'll be working in the office 2 days a week and likely working from home the others. When I'm not working I love doing outdoor activities like running and hiking, reading and drawing, cooking and baking, and just exploring the city. 2 BR with office or 3 BR in Beautiful Cobble Hill
Share a gorgeous 3BR apartment in the best location with only 2 roommates! I’m looking for two new roommates to take over my previous roommate's half of the lease starting DEC 1st (with some flexibility/possibility to move-in earlier). My roommate has to move out of our lease that started September 1st, so this would be a 9-month opportunity with rent split evenly 3 ways.
The apartment is a 3 bedroom/1.5 bathroom space with a full kitchen (dishwasher) and a sunny living room. It is on the first floor and the basement level with 2 entrances (super easy moving in). There is coin-operated laundry in the building, right outside our apartment.
There will be two rooms available, one of which is my current roommate’s and the other of which is a room we currently use as an office. Both are large enough to fit a queen sized bed, dresser, desk, and clothing rack. One has a full closet and opens to the basement area where we do laundry and the other is upstairs. One is 13’ X 11’ and the other is 6.5’ X 19’. There are two bathrooms, one on each level, but only the top one has a shower. Both bedrooms will be unfurnished and there will be room in common spaces for furniture if you would like to bring it.
The location is truly incredible; Trader Joe’s is around the block, Cobble Hill park is 1 block away, Brooklyn Bridge park/Pier 6 is a 12 minute walk. Everything you could ever need (grocery stores, bodegas, local shops, gyms, cafes, restaurants, bars, laundry service, nail salons) is all very close by. Plus, it’s well located for getting around via subway with quick access to 6 different subway lines.
Utilities averaged $180-$200/month due to electric heating last year, but could be less this year with less time spent in the apartment.
