About Me

Hi!

I'm 27 years old and have lived in NYC for almost 5 years now, and am seeking a roommate to afford the now crazy rent! My current roommate is moving in with her boyfriend, so we are (amicably!) choosing not to renew our lease together, which ends Sept 30th 2023. I'd like to move from my current area of Hells Kitchen, into Brooklyn or elsewhere in Manhattan.

I am currently applying to grad school, so anticipate leaving the city sometime next August - therefore, I'm open to a variety of lease options. Ideally, I'd sublet any months next fall that I'm not around, if we go with a year's lease.

I'm very independent and enjoy my own space, but would love to socialize and be friendly and comfortable with my new roommate. I'm clean but not intense about it, and in the apartment I'd like to play music, do yoga, watch TV, cook, etc. I am fine with occasional visitors, but not a pregame every weekend :) Home = safe, restful space, and I'm looking for someone who also values that.

Reach out if this sounds like a chill living situation you'd be interested in!

My maximum monthly budget 2,000
Move in Date Oct 2023
Age 26
Pets No Pets
Hometown Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Relationship Status Single
LGBTQ Friendly

We think Kaylin would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
