I moved to the Boston area from Minnesota last year, and I'm looking to replace a roommate who's moving out in the middle of the summer. I would love to find someone with a compatible lifestyle who I can talk to and chill with every now and them. I am a big believer in keeping open communication and addressing problems when they first arise.
I am a security guard at a cancer research center in Cambridge. I work second shift (3pm-11pm) soon to be Monday through Friday. I typically wake up at 9am and go to bed by 1am seven days a week. If your schedule is different, that's fine. I only ask that you keep the noise and light levels to a minimum while I'm asleep, and I'll give you the same courtesy. Visitors are welcome, but I prefer if I know ahead of time, especially if they will be spending the night.
I am moderately clean. I do not need everything spotless, but I do try to keep common areas presentable. I am open to different arrangements in regards to cleaning and other chores. I do not have any pets, but yours would be welcome. My current roommate has two cats. Ideally she would like to move out July 1st, but she is open to moving the date as early as June 15th to as late as July 15th if you need the flexibility.

Available Room for Rent
Room in First Floor House
It's the first floor of a three unit house. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a small room that connects the living room and kitchen. We have plenty of storage space in a room leading outside and in the garage. We share the driveway with the people in the other units, and we are allotted one parking spot total. There is always plenty of free street parking if needed. The laundry room is downstairs. The unit contains a dishwasher and a gas stove. Water is included in the rent, but all other utilities are extra. My current roommate and I split Wi-Fi. I have a smart TV that I share in the living room. We do not have cable, but I would consider it.
We're in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to Boston. Two bus stops are a 5-10 minute walk, and we are a short drive to Davis Station and the Red Line. Nearby is Tufts and plenty of shopping and restaurants. There is also a Whole Foods down the road, and in the summer there is a small farmer's market next to the Mystic River.
