Parikshit S - $1,300/month

Hello! I'm moving to the city and looking for places and housemates starting the 1st of August. Any gender is okay and LGBTQ+ friendly.

I'm starting my Ph.D. at NYU and will be moving there from Chicago. I'm 25 and am originally from India. I'm fairly clean, friendly, and accomodating. Fully vaccinated + boosted. I have always been friendly/friends with my roommates but am also okay with keeping space if that's better. I'm okay with all pets but I don't have any.

I love cooking, exploring the city, going to concerts, and having a night out but am also a homebody on most other days. However, I anticipate I'll be fairly busy with my Ph.D. and will be spending most of my time at the lab.

My budget is around 1300(including utilities, albeit flexible), and would like to save as much on rent as possible so that I can spend more on experiencing everything the city has to offer. I'd prefer to stay somewhere in Brooklyn or somewhere that is<30 minutes by train to downtown Brooklyn where my campus is.
