Timothy F - $1,400/month

Hi guys! My name is Timmy and I'm trying to get a head start on finding an apartment for a 4/30-5/1 move-in. I am starting a new job this month and I'm looking to stay in the area or get slightly closer, so I'm looking at the following neighborhoods: Williamsburg (near an L stop), Bushwick & Ridegewood. My new job is right by the Jefferson St L stop!

I'll be working at the non-profit Animal Care Center in Queens full time, hybrid. My budget for an apartment is maxed out at around $1400 but keeping it lower would be awesome. Looking to have just 1 roommate but open to living with a total of 3 people. I will have my dad as a guarantor myself.

I will be coming with my 17lbs dog, Bobby, who's a jindo-mix I've had for about 3.5 years. He can be wary and skiddish with strangers at first but he largely just has a cat's personality and likes to chill in my room or on the couch all day. It would be awesome to have you meet him beforehand as well, he is pretty easy to win over with treats. If you have pets, he has lived with both a mini golden doodle who he was friends with and two different cats, who he chooses to ignore once he realizes he'll be living with them. He is completely house trained and does not have accidents.

I would enjoy having my roommate(s) as friends but also totally understand just being friendly and keeping to ourselves. My hobbies include gaming, raves/festivals, reading/writing and cooking! I am wasian so I mostly enjoy cooking japanese/korean style food and pasta !! I am also a gay man but I have no preference in prospective roommates myself, so long as we can be respectful and clean.
