My name is Nihar (he/they) and I'm a 26 year old immigrant, who works as an engineer. I am able to work from home every day, but I intend to go into an office two times a week. I just moved to New York from the Bay Area, and am looking for housing in Brooklyn. I have a lot of experience living in group settings. I lived in a 60 person housing co-op in college, and have always lived with roommates since then. I like to clean at least once a week and always clean up any messes in common space.

In my free time, I like to cook, rock climb, go out to bars/restauraunts and experience all that the city has to offer. I am very into film, photography and reading. I can also appreciate staying in for a game night or a movie night. In terms of roommates I'm looking for a place with the right mix of privacy and community and this listing really called out to me.

I have one cat, Kashmir, and he is the sweetest and cuddliest cat you could find. He's 5 years old and fully socialized around humans. He usually just hangs out in my room but will hang out with you if you desire.
