I work in live events, mostly on weekends, so I really value privacy and a calm atmosphere during the week. Since my job involves constant interaction with performers and large crowds, I appreciate coming home to a quiet, peaceful, and low-key environment where I can recharge.
Ideally, I am looking for a roommate who works outside the home, which helps maintain that sense of space during the weekdays. My current roommate is only around a few days each month, and when he is, he’s clean, quiet, and respectful; qualities that are important to me in any shared living situation.
I am seeking someone who is friendly, considerate, and mindful of both personal space and shared areas. Keeping things clean and tidy is important, along with finding a good balance between being social and respecting each other’s privacy. I also spend time meditating and hanging out with my 3-year-old dog, Toby, a 12 lb. Havanese. He is crate-trained, stays mostly in the living room, and has a calm, friendly temperament—always happy to say hello.
During the day, I focus on business tasks, and I enjoy listening to music while cooking. I’m sensitive to strong odors, so I prefer to avoid heavy colognes, incense, or unpleasant smells like the bathroom. Otherwise, I am easygoing and just like to check in occasionally to make sure everything is running smoothly.
This is a smoke-free, drug-free, and alcohol-free home meant to be a safe, relaxed, and welcoming space.
