i am an active, retired senior looking to rent my spare room with private bath and separate entrance, to a quiet, non-smoking, career oriented, single individual, or a graduate student, who may only need accommodation during the work week (for a reduced rate of $1000.)
The room is within walking distance of University of Ottawa, the Byward Market, Beechwood Avenue, grocery stores and pharmacies. There are buses nearby, street parking with snow removal restrictions during winter. Rental parking in the neighbourhood is a possibility.
The room is located in a ground floor condo built in 2010, and furnished with a large closet, small medical grade refrigerator and kettle, desk and chair, double bed, chest of drawers, wall-mounted bookcase and bedside bookcase and kettle. A new heating system has just been installed. Kitchen use can be discussed.
The private bath is located across the hall from the room and adjacent to a stacked front load washer/dryer.
The bath has a large shower and vanity with ample storage. Bedding and towels can be provided.
References, police record check from your current location, and proof of COVID vaccination are requested.
