Kelly C - $1,200/month

Hello! I'm Kelly and I use they/them pronouns. I recently graduated from MIT where I studied math and chemistry, and I'm moving to Maryland for a fellowship in the NIH Bioethics Department (change of pace! although I'm still planning to pursue a chemistry PhD after). I'm looking for apartments in the Bethesda/DC area, but I'm somewhat flexible on location as I'll have a car.

I'm fairly introverted and like to focus on work/do my own thing most days, but I enjoy socializing every so often. I don't currently have pets, but I like animals and I'm open to living with someone with pets. I do have a partner who will be staying in the Boston area, and I'd like to have them over for a weekend every month or two.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, fire-spinning (sort of what it sounds like-- a performing art that involves manipulation of fire and props that are on fire), and bouldering. My partner also got me into Minecraft last year so I do that sometimes too.

I'm particularly interested in rooming with other trans/nonbinary people (of any gender), or other QTPOC. I'm fairly COVID-conscious (I work in person/go out regularly but I'm always masked indoors if there are others around), and I'm happy to negotiate extra safety precautions/potentially a chore distribution if we live together.
