2 rooms opening in my 3bd/1bh apartment in Historic Filipinotown!
Hi! I'm looking for two roommates to move in with me (24) on May 1st to a 3-bed, 1-bathroom apartment in Historic Filipinotown, walking distance to Echo Park and Silver Lake.
The rooms available are unfurnished, but the rest of the apartment is furnished. There's room for a queen-sized bed, dresser, small desk, and plenty of closet space. The apartment has a washer/dryer and dishwasher in-unit as well as air conditioning in most rooms. There is one parking spot for the apartment and usually we rotate who gets it every two weeks - otherwise there is street parking available (no permit required). Rent is $1067 plus utilities and paid through an online portal through our realty company, Adaptive Realty, on the 1st of every month. There will be an additional $950 security deposit due at the time of move-in. The lease is month-to-month. Rent typically goes up about $40 per person each August. There are additional monthly utilities that range from $30-60 for water/power, wifi and gas.
The living room has two bookshelves and a fully working TV, plus two couches. The kitchen has most bowls, plates, silverware and cooking supplies but any more that you bring in would be great. The kitchen also has a dishwasher, stove, microwave, toaster and hot water boiler. We also have a pantry space and a refrigerator & freezer that we split between the three of us. There is storage space avail in the pantry and in the large laundry room. The building, which has four apartments including ours, has a back patio shared amongst the residents and is located on a gated property. There's garbage out back and recycling out front with the mailboxes.
The neighborhood is mostly a residential family neighborhood with a school right across the street. Ralph's, Von's and Target are within a 5-min drive. Walking distance to the main Sunset Blvd stretch of Echo Park & Silver Lake and a 10 min drive to downtown and Los Feliz.
