Grace C - $1,000/month

I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan and am moving to the city to continue my job search in Marketing, Design, and Illustration (woohoo so exciting!!).
I am a quiet and clean person and I like to come home to rest/ unwind from the day.
My philosophy is: roommates don’t have to be best friends, but respectful and considerate of one another :) That being said, I enjoy the occasional casual wine nights with the roomies if we’re all down and like to say ‘hi’ and ‘good morning’ when we run into each other in the bathroom/kitchen/living room!

I am planning to be out and about on the weekdays— doing interviews, sending in-person resumes, continuing the job hunt.. Therefore, I do not have a strict daily schedule as of now, but I plan to leave the house by 10AM and come back 7/8PM.

I am a stickler for paying rent or other necessities on time. I have four months saved up from the summer so you can trust that I’m not coming to a new city without a plan or savings to live from! That being said, I want to be transparent and let you know that I do not currently have an income (hopefully will in the next couple months tho!) or a credit score. I totally understand if this is a deal breaker, but I thought I’d try to shoot my shot nevertheless!

My ideal Saturday is to sleep in, make a hearty breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, the works!), run some errands, go to a bookstore and buy a cheap book, read at a park, eat dinner with a friend, come home and have a glass of wine, fall asleep to a rerun of The Office :)
