Hi all! I’m in my late 20s, work in nonprofit, and have lived in DC for 7 years. I love exploring new areas (including my own neighborhood!) and am usually up for a planned adventure. I typically cook at home during the week (Pinterest and InstantPot are my obsessions this year...) and work a standard 9-5 schedule.

We think Erin’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…

Looking for a great housemate to fill a wonderful space in growing Edgewood neighborhood! I rent directly from the owner.
Large 9x12 unfurnished second bedroom in recently renovated condo available August 1 (flexible) for $1400, including an off-street parking space (utilities not included). Utilities run about $150 monthly per person and include water, gas, electric, water, home security, cable/internet, and a monthly cleaning service. Application and background check required. Non-smoking and pet free.
The room: Bright second bedroom that can easily fit a Full or Queen size bed and has an en suite bathroom with full size tub. The room also includes a HUGE custom standing wardrobe (80” L x 94” D x 23” W).
The condo: Condo has brand new high-end stainless steel appliances, full sized washer/dryer, new wood floors throughout. Plus a wonderful skylight so it’s bright all year round! Common areas and kitchen are fully furnished (couch, island, bookcase, television, etc.) and fully stocked with high quality cookware and bakeware. Ready to move in! Common areas also includes wonderful outside deck furnished for relaxing during spring, summer and fall!
The location: The apartment is conveniently located to the G8 and D8 buses. Two red line metro stops are about a ten minute walk away (Rhode Island Ave & Brookland/CUA). We have beautiful views of the Basilica Shrine on 4th Street NE and easy access to restaurants, bars, and community activities in Bloomingdale, Brookland, Monroe St., and Union Market areas. Extremely close to Catholic University, Trinity University, Washington DC VA Medical Center, Children’s National, and Howard University Hospital.
Housemate vibes: I’m looking for someone who is respectful, trustworthy, and tidy. I would prefer to live with a woman. I enjoy getting to know my roommates and would like a situation where we feel comfortable catching up on our days after work. I’m in my late 20s, work in nonprofit, and have lived in DC for 7 years. I love exploring new areas (including my own neighborhood!) and am usually up for a planned adventure. I typically cook at home during the week and work a standard 9-5 schedule.
