I am a recently Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Benin, West Africa 2018-20. I live in Maryland, and recently accepted a new job in DC with the Department of Health and Human Services. I start in July and would preferably like a place near the red line, but also they essentially told me to expect to work from home for the rest of the year.

I do have a dog, but he is currently not with me. He is currently still in Benin, living with a friend until he can fly over here (Peace Corps evacuated us quickly back in March because of the pandemic). He is a very sweet and clean basenji who absolutely adores being around people and also gets along with cats (I had a pet cat in my village house). Happy to send pics/answer any questions about him.

I would be a clean, easy-going, and responsible roommate. I haven't lived in the US in almost two years, so I don't have very much furniture. I like to read, bike, play volleyball, keep up with current events, and eat international food. If you want help caring for plants or learning French, I'm your gal.
