Hi! I am in need of a new roommate who can move in August and lease and sign on for another year.

I have been working as a math teacher in Brooklyn for the last 2 years. I live in a spacious 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom, rent-stabilized duplex with a doorman and elevator at the edge of Carroll Gardens. The apartment is generously sized for the location with a lot of closet/storage space, bar area in the kitchen, and large windows with plenty of natural light.

I love the location and the building – lots of bars/cheap restaurants, an incredible variety of supermarkets (walking distance to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Union Market), and about 7 minutes from the F and G train at Bergen Street/Carroll Street.

Please let me know if you are interested ASAP. Because the building is middle-income, you will have to go through a credit check through the landlord before being accepted.
