SHARED HOUSING / ROOM WANTED (Start date flexible: October/November/December)

Hi!

I am looking for shared housing and would love to hear from you if you have any tips or are looking for a house/flatmate. I like having house/flatmates and it would be great to find someone(s) that share(s) that preference.

Housing for 1 person, mid career, he/him/his, adult, friendly, fun, responsible, considerate, social and respectful. I'd say I'm pretty down to earth and authentic. I tend to be an early-ish to bed (10pm-midnight) and early-ish up in the morning (6-8am). The move-in date is flexible, but near-term would be great. I do not have any pets, but I love them, so it's ok/great if you do.

I grew up in Virginia and have lived in Europe/LatAm most of my adult life. I’m happy to be back in the area closer to family now. I studied energy, policy and technology in grad school. I work in the private sector with renewable energy. Nothing to do with government, the DC/DMV area is simply a good homebase for my purposes. I travel regularly, but nothing excessive. My job is remote and I'm on the lookout for a good coworking spot nearby where I can spend work hours.

I like reading and the outdoors. I enjoy cooking when I have time, and excellent food all of the time. I tend to escape the city to a family cabin in West Virginia when I manage to justify the drive. I like creative endeavors, woodworking, gardening, and diy projects. I am probably an ambivert with an ascending extrovert. I'm energized by socializing and I also appreciate/need my alone time. I meditate, do yoga, and stay relatively fit in general… but in moderation. Languages spoken: English, Spanish, Norwegian.
