I am 24 years old, I recently graduated from college and I am currently working as a full time nanny in Dorchester. I love to cook and bake, I spend a lot of my free time at home painting, reading and writing, or watching Netflix. I am a vegetarian, I love plants, I love to run and do yoga, and I love to travel. I cook at least 4 or 5 meals a week and am always happy to share my creations. I also love to go out to restaurants, museums, bars, breweries, farmers markets, or anything interesting going on in the community. I am rather new to Boston and would love to find a roommate who wants to be friends and do things together!
l have a wonderful kitty named Bellatrix who lives in the apartment as well, so be aware in case you have pet allergies. She is not great with other animals, so unfortunately, I cannot have another pet in the apartment. I would prefer to find a roommate who is good with animals because Bella is quite cuddly and friendly and would probably want to be your friend.
Lastly, it is very important to me that anyone I live with is respectful of the sacred space I call home. Cleanliness and tidiness are hugely important and absolutely necessary for sharing our space. I keep my home neat and I clean weekly and I would expect my roommate to do the same. As long as you are clean and nice, we will never have a problem!

I am looking for a roommate to rent out the second bedroom in a beautiful newly renovated apartment off of JFK/UMass in South Boston. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a 3 story walkup about a 5-7 minute walk from the JFK T Stop.
Renting can begin as early as May 1 or anytime after that. The rent is $1150/month before utilities and the initial move-in fees would be first, last, and a broker fee ($3450 to move in).
There are 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a large front room, lots of windows and natural light, brand new wood floors, fresh paint, new counter tops, new shower, sinks and toilets, a beautiful standing shower, all new appliances in the kitchen, and tons of storage space. There is no laundry in the building, but there is a laundromat just down the street (less than 2 minutes away).
I am renting out the back bedroom in the apartment. It is the smaller of the two, but it is very spacious, has a nice big window, and a good sized closet. There is no furniture in the bedroom so you would need to provide your own.
The neighborhood is awesome, very close to shops, grocery stores, restaurants, laundromats, a movie theatre, and a few minutes from a shopping center that has a Target, Starbucks, Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, and lots of other great shops.
