Hey everyone! I’m looking for 3 roommates to join me on a 12-month lease for a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment at The Alden. It’s right off 14th & U Street on a really pretty, tree-lined block—super close to everything going on in the neighborhood, but still feels quiet and homey.
If you’re at Howard, the location is super convenient. Main campus is only about 0.8 miles away, which is roughly a 12–15 minute walk, a 4-minute bike ride, or a fast bus/Metro trip.
Rent & Deal Details:
Base rent for the full unit is $5,083/month
- Bedroom 1: 1,211
- Bedroom 2: 1,291
- Bedroom 3: 1,291
Special: They’re offering up to 2 months free, which will bring the actual monthly cost down a ton!
Included: Water, sewer, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Upfront Fees: $50 app fee per person + $600 admin fee split between the four of us.
The Place: It’s a 1,350 sq ft apartment with high ceilings, hardwood floors, a nice kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and an in-unit washer/dryer. The building has secure entry, video intercoms, bike storage, and a private outdoor patio space.
What I’m Looking For: I’d love to build a home that’s friendly, relaxed, and low-stress. Personality-wise, I’m looking for roommates who are clean and respectful of shared areas like the kitchen and easy to communicate with.
