Nice neighborhood on a quiet street, close to South side New Bedford ocean area/Cove Walk/West Beach. Place was renovated in January last year and has fresh paint, new carpets and new plank floors and brand new bathroom tub. Place has a cute backyard with benches and bonfire spot, I have a little portable grill if you’d like to use. There is laundry in the basement (dryer sometimes does not work though, Delken right down the street - nice clean not too busy laundromat), plenty of parking on a wide street and nearby streets also, wifi electric and gas included, nice area especially in the summer with beaches not too far, basketball court close by, nice bakery and pizza place both 2 blocks away. 5-7 minutes to highway. 3min drive to Stop and Shop. Few convenience stores walking distance. I have large TV to share and full size kitchen with everything needed (plates, silverware, pots etc), espresso machine and air fryer, blender, toaster, toaster-roaster oven, microwave and a gas stove. We are on the 1st floor. Neighborhood is safe and all neighbors are nice, we all get our packages here. Room is small with no closet, with 1 window. Rent is on a month to month basis and is 850 a month due on the 1st every month with last month’s rent of 850 and security deposit of 500 to move in. If you need extra time to come up with last month’s rent I am able to wait until March 1st for that. All receipts will be given and if there is no damage caused by you when you are moving out, you will be getting your security back. It is a sub lease and landlord is aware and you will be meeting him too. No credit check is required but there will be background check needed. Total rent is 1500 and gas bill during summer is about 80, electric about 100, during winter gas about 150 and electric is about 50. So it comes out to be about the same for both of us but I cover a wifi bill since my room is a little bigger to be fair. TV system has Peacock with many channels and apps that you could use to watch movies/shows. I also have chromecast if you like to stream directly from your phone/tablet. Smoking is outside only, place has very sensitive smoke detectors in each room. I’m looking for someone to roommate with for at least a year. I’m not planning to move out anytime soon but if that happens lease can be reassigned to you if needed. My last roommate lived with me for 2 years and we were a good team and I’m looking for something similar, long term, with good simple communication and trust. I’m a 36 year old female with a quiet cat. I work a lot and when home like peace and quiet so looking for someone who is similar. Place is pretty small so I don’t like guests too often, for safety reasons too. If you are okay with that and also keeping place clean and communicating about things efficiently, we might be a good match as roommates. I don’t bring anyone over, I’m introverted and have 1 bestie friend that I usually visit at her place or elsewhere. I work a lot and study so peace and quiet and clean at home means a lot to me
