I’m a kind, caring person. My work (over 25 years) is centered around helping people get along, communicate effectively, and build trust and teamwork with each other. I've worked in businesses, schools, non-profits, etc. I teach personal and professional development. None of this makes me perfect but I do my best to walk my talk and I love peace and good relationships!
I’m a great roommate if you are someone who likes to be left alone when you want to be and knows that I'm friendly but also a bit of an introvert that often needs my own space and alone time. I'm simple in that I'm not loud and generally go to places to meet up with friends not have them over at my house. I have a few grandchildren that live locally but they rarely come over because they are half-time with their mom.
I go to bed fairly early (by 10 or 10:30) and rise early (like 6:00 am) and go on a morning walk, have coffee, and start my day. If you like calm, quiet and peace, with close proximity to many great things, and have access to parks, gyms, water and trails, this is the place for you!

I'm seeking to rent a furnished bedroom and private full bathroom to a single woman in the walk-out lower level of my beautiful place. No pets or smoking.
The bedroom you would rent is large, has 10' ceilings, windows, a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and furniture. There is also a private full bath. There is a backdoor entrance on this level or you can enter from the main level as there is a garage space you can use (if you have a small to mid-sized car).
You would share these on the main floor: the kitchen, eating area, garage, laundry room, a 2nd fridge, cookware, appliances, and all utilities (including the newest high-speed wifi) are included in the price.
This home is in a safe, and highly desirable area. I have lived in this place for 13 years and in the area since 1986 (almost 40 years). We have lots of grocery and other stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. and are near Creve Coeur Lake and parks. We are close to the airport and to major highways but the home is situated in a quiet location with common ground behind us where deer and rabbits are seen daily. I live on the main level and work from home. I am fairly private and self-contained but also friendly and helpful.
You would need to be on my lease for one year, go through a background check, and be a non-smoker, without pets. Lease renewal each year is possible depending upon the interest and agreement of both of us.
