I do volunteer work and have a couple of other gigs so I am pretty busy most of the time. I am very easy going person. I like a clean space, especially in the kitchen but I am not obsessive about it. $1199 per month in coveted Del Ray/Alexandria Private Bd and Bath

Looking for a new roommate for a second bedroom in a 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom apartment. Move in would be mid-September The apartment is in the Del Ray section of Alexandria approximately 1 mile from both the Potomac Yard and Braddock Road metro stations and along several bus lines. The building also has a weekday shuttle to the Crystal City Metro Station. Off-street on-site parking is free for all building residents.

The private bedroom can come furnished with a double bed, desk and chair or unfurnished. There is a closet in the bedroom and a second hall closet that the roommate can use in the hallway next to the hall bathroom, which they will have full/private access to. The apartment is fully equipped with a living room, dining room, and full kitchen with a gas stove and a full pantry. The apartment also has a large balcony.

Rent is for the second room is $1199 per month plus $80 charge for utilities that is set by the building. Utilities include water, gas, electric, and trash. Trash chute is located on each floor. Laundry is not in the apartment but also available on each floor. This is a nice quiet building perched on a hill with great views of the surrounding area.

The second roommate will be included in the lease including going through a background check and income verification. This is not a sublet. Looking for someone to stay a minimum of six months.
