I'm offering fully furnished room with a walk-in closet, hardwood floors, lock on door, direct sunlight - your window faces east. You won't get a better deal than this in Andersonville - considered one of Chicago's most enviable neighbourhoods. Very friendly community, walking distance from everything you'd need or want, close to the Clark, Damen, Foster, and Lawrence busses, and a 13 minute walk to Argyle redline. During Chicago's infamously fabulous summers, it's a lovely stroll to Foster Beach.
Classic Chicago brownstone brick building, so it's warm and charming with its eclectic mix of vintage and antique furniture, hardwood floors, steam radiators (better for lungs!), and relatively high ceilings. I put a lot of work into making it a creative and inviting space. I’ve switched a few things around since these photos were taken back when I did AirBnB, but it still reflects 95% accuracy. Wifi, water, gas, and electric included. No laundry facility onsite, but a 5 minute walk away is a cheap laundromat in which I’ve never had to wait for a machine! Tub and shower, bidet toilet (oh, yes!). Although this is touted as a room rental, I definitely want you to feel like this is your home. .There's a shared and fairly large back yard. About 30 units, I'd guess. I'm on a first floor walk-up, no lift. I love this place!
