Hi, new roomie!
Before you read any further, this is a Nov 1 move-in!
There will likely be loads of flexibility to move stuff in here last few days of October.
Now here's the post...
Margaret + Tim are looking for you! We have an available bedroom in a 3-bedroom apartment in Crown Heights. Off of Nostrand Avenue and Dean Street. 2 minute walk to Prospect Heights. 2 minute walk to Bed-Stuy.
It's a great building with great people (yo! Margaret, Tim), and the location is pretty convenient. Such a weird time to be finding an apartment right now. We are sending good vibes your way during this stressful search. Here are a few deets on the space:
__Building__
Renovated a couple years ago, it's in great condition.
Not one bug in the building!
Roof access.
There's a key code for extra security to enter the building.
Laundry room in basement!
__Apt__
3 bedrooms.
Located on the 3rd floor. Walk up. Very short stairs if that makes sense.
Kitchen / Living room combo.
Apple TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.
Leather couch, dining table.
Fancy Coffee Machine!
Pots and Pans and everything you need, of course.
We have a bathroom too! hahah (in clean condition...thanks to Margaret!).
__Bedroom__
It comes unfurnished. Old roomie may give you, sell furniture if you want!
It's a big room by NYC standards. Definitely can hold a queen size bed.
Corner room, lots of privacy.
__Location__
7 minute walk to A/C train off of Nostrand.
14 minute walk to 4/5 train and 1/3 train off of Franklin.
Fancy restaurants.
Non-Fancy restaurants.
2 grocery stores blocks away.
Great brunch places…if you brunch. If we get brunch back.

SUBLET DETAILS
Looking for a Nov 1 move-in.
__Rent = $950
__One Month Deposit = $1050.00 = $950 (one month’s rent) + $100 (one month’s utilities)
__Total = $2000 = needed to move in.
__Utilities run about $60 to $120 each. Depends on AC, Heat usage, etc.
Current roommates plan to be here for a while, but we are considering both long and short-term candidates for this sublet. It's important to find a good match! Ari, our roommate leaving, is heading to London to get married. Whoa.
No couples!
and no pets, I’m afraid. Geckos are fine tho. That was once a question, and they are cool haha.
