One roommate needed in downtown Jersey City for $1000/month!
Looking to fill a room for $1000/month in the most amazing apartment in downtown Jersey City! My current roomie is moving out to live with her boyfriend. The new lease starts March 1st and you would need to sign the one year lease.
Apartment is a 3 bedroom, 2 and ½ bathroom, 2 level brownstone apartment with a huge kitchen and living room area, with the ½ bathroom downstairs. Kitchen has a dishwasher and modern appliances. Apartment has washer/dryer in unit and central air/heat. There is also a deck off of the kitchen with a table and chairs.
The bedroom available has a built in closet and hard wood floor. It has a large window and gets plenty of light. It also faces the back of the apartment/away from the street; so no street noise! Rent is $1000 a month plus utilities. PSEG fluctuates based on usage and Verizon is $25 per roommate.
There is a full bathroom located just next to the room, which you will share with one other roommate. There's also a huge closet in the hallway where you can store extra things (suitcases, extra clothes, etc). The apartment also in general has tons of storage/closets in common areas.
I’ll be in the largest bedroom on the other end of the hall. I have my own bathroom so won’t be sharing yours.
5 minute walk to the Grove Street PATH. Very safe and fun area! Close to a bunch of great restaurants, bars, and parks. Liberty State Park is a short walk away. Short walking distance to the waterfront viewing Manhattan as well.

I like to hang out at home and also go out (before the pandemic). When I’m home I do like to hang out with the other roommates and would want someone who is down to have a beer or glass of wine after work, while also respecting our personal space. I take good care of the apartment, so I prefer clean people/who are down to help out with chores :)
Few other things about me: I like working out (running outside, working on my Peloton bike), going for walks to grab coffee, plants, cooking/baking, having drinks on the weekend, seeing friends and family, etc.
