We are seeking a fourth roommate to join our Queer Piedmont house. Room is available June 1st. We seek someone who is rather queer-friendly. We like a non-judgmental home: friendly, anti-racist, feminist, and egalitarian. Also please be COVID conscious.

Room:
$880 plus utilities. There is a $50 Non-refundable application fee for a credit and background check.
Move in would be first and last month's rent plus $250 deposit ($2,010). Your room is a huge refurbished attic room; bright, spacious and carpeted. It has a large closet and three windows.

House:
4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in North Portland across from a large gorgeous city park. 5 minute drive to I-5 and Fred Meyer. Close to #4,44,75 and 6 bus lines and a 10 Minute walk to MAX yellow line. Lots of street parking.
Dishwasher, washer and dryer in home. 2 working fireplaces. No garage, but there's a storage room in the basement.There are steps up the entry way , up to attic and leading down to the basement. Beautiful backyard with garden, outdoor dining table, fire pit, and a smoke shack.

We are looking for a roommate who will help keep the house clean and is okay doing chores in common spaces and sharing yard work during the summer. Direct, kind communication has been a big part of the peacefulness of the house, and is a necessity. Rent and bills are a no-brainer because we all pay on time. We work different schedules so we're not always home at the same time, but we do want to have BBQs this summer! We are looking for someone to add to a good, friendly home atmosphere.

Cannabis (outside only) and alcohol are ok, but no other substances. This is definitely not a party house.
Respectful guests are always welcome, limited to 3 nights a week with consensus.

Roomates:
-B (He/she/they)
Works doing asphalt maintenance and is up early Monday through Friday. Enjoy fishing, being outside and old Hollywood movies. Has a very shy cat named Lizzie Borden, who mostly stays in their room. Goes to bed early, but really enjoys when the housemates can get together for dinner, barbecue or hangout by the fire.
-R, (he/him), a gay man and AFAB trans. He is a novice gardener, a singer, an avid outdoor cannabis smoker. He is a basement dweller, night owl, and currently healing from foot surgery. He has lived in this house for 10 years.
-K (he/him), a gay bear and an IT professional, who works mornings, is a gamer and a kind human. He’s pretty quiet and keeps to himself for the most part, but also friendly when you see him.
