34 Year old Administrative professional with a 9-5 job - looking for someone to rent out my second bedroom.
I am a homebody for the most part. If I'm not at work I'm usually relaxing watching TV in my room or hanging out with my pup Ted. I don't typically have people over, but I don't mind having people around as long as its communicated. On weekends I can be found cooking, cleaning, doing maintenance or DIY or fun crafty projects around the house.
I'm a little messy - I may leave my shoes by the door or a sweater on the couch etc.. but I am not dirty - I keep my space very clean and sanitary. I expect the same from a roommate. I do not expect perfection either - I understand we all struggle to keep up sometimes. I'm pretty laid back as a roommate in general - I communicate my schedules, expectations and plans very clearly and I am open to feedback and compromise. I clean the house once per week on the weekend top to bottom and expect that my roommate do some light maintenance cleaning on days in between when possible - but I do the heavy lifting.
I'm pretty introverted and my social battery drains quickly, so I may not always be the roommate to want to chat and do things together - I keep to myself for the most part. This can be beneficial to other introverts.

I have one bedroom available in my 2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom Parkdale apartment.
You would be sharing with me, a 34 year old female working an office job, and my senior Cocker Spaniel Ted, who is a very sweet and friendly dog.
The unit is in a mid-rise Parkdale building built in the 60s, but the unit was completely renovated in 2019. The neighborhood is safe and family friendly with elementary schools and daycares right next door. The neighborhood also has grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and everything else within walking distance. The building is located about 2-3 minutes walk from the 504 King Streetcar, and about a 15-20 minute walk to Sunnyside Beach and the west side waterfront.
