Hello!

I’m a graduate student in NJ finishing up my degree virtually. I’m moving to DC as I have a job lined up with the government which will start in January 2022. Outside of school, I like to explore new places whether it be a hiking trail or museum, cooking some new recipes, or going to dance classes. I’m working from home/coffee shops for now but will be doing in person work starting next year.

I’ve lived with roommates throughout my undergraduate and graduate school programs and have found that I like living with housemates who like to hang out and have a movie night on occasion. I’m respectful of common areas and people’s space.

I do have a small pet bird, Olive, who is very friendly and loves people, but she will hang out in my room. Because of this and some really bad allergies I have, I can’t live with cats or dogs.

My budget is $1200 max but would prefer to find something cheaper. I'm also looking to live within walking distance of a metro station, if possible.
