I just moved to the city from Beirut, Lebanon. This is a huge change for me as a queer Lebanese person making a move to the city of his dreams (as cheesy as it sounds haha). I also got into my dream school and everything is going amazing so far - except for the housing situation; it has been extremely stressful and difficult to find a place to stay. With the start of the semester approaching (in a week-ish, it's getting stressful. I've had previous experience living with other strangers and I know that I'm super clean and respectful as a roommate. I can be as present or as absent as my roommates want me to be in terms of socializing. We could be best friends or we could just be casual roommates who say hi to each other but live independent lives. I'd like my roommate to also be understanding and communicative. We can both agree on things to ensure that both of us are happy and comfortable. I'd love to share some of my culture, food, etc with you and turn the place we live in into a cozy safe space for us.
