About Me

Hi! I’m Elle! I was born and raised in SLC, Utah and went to college in California. I recently got a job in animal care so I have to move quickly to NYC before my start date on May 10. I love meeting new people and I’m pretty easygoing. I love to travel, visit bookstores, play video games, find tasty places to eat, take photos, and go exploring both in the city and out in nature. I’m a huge animal lover but I don’t currently have any pets. I’m generally clean and definitely believe in mutual respect of each other/each other’s property between roommates. If I sound like a good fit to live with you, I’d love to get to know you!

Elle and I have lived together in different rooming situations for about three years out of our 6 years of being friends. We initially met as suitemates during our freshman year of college, and then were roommates in a tiny room our junior year (after we both studied abroad in different locations the year before). Our senior year of college, we lived together in a leased 3 bedroom apartment along with two other friends. Purely from a co-living standpoint, you’d be lucky to have Elle; she’s organized, keeps common areas (and her own private areas) very tidy, and is down to participate in a chore chart or whatever other method of splitting up tasks that you decide on together. Elle doesn’t typically cook a ton but when she does, she’s really good at cleaning up and was super conscious of being careful when using other people’s kitchen stuff (we shared basically all our pans, glasses, etc.). Elle also LOVES animals and is an amazing animal caregiver, though she doesn’t have pets of her own— if you do have pets, you’re definitely scoring a live-in pro pet sitter. In terms of rent, Elle consistently paid on-time and was responsible for her full share of utilities. Aside from just being a great, *normal* roommate, Elle is also just an amazing person and friend. She’s super interesting, having travelled all over the world and recently done a cross country trip to visit the lower 48 states. She’s an avid photographer, a foodie, and generally a super fun person. If you’re looking for a great friend, she’s there for it, but she’s also an introvert and will be a quiet and respectful roommate if that’s all you’re wanting. She’s the best!

Elle is the most incredible person you will meet. Kind, respectful, funny, helpful and clean. I roomed with her in college and she quickly became my best friend. She is always there to lend you a hand or to leave you alone when you need it. Perfect balance of extroverted and introverted qualities that make her a blast of a human being. Couldn’t recommend a better roommate and overall human being if I tried.

We think Elle would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
