We are an established, quiet household in round rock looking for a reliable, long-term roommate to join our home. The house is shared by me (48), my husband (50) and our long-term roommate (52) who lives in the upstairs loft.
We are definitely not a party house. We enjoy a calm, respectful environment where everyone can recharge. I work a standard daytime schedule as a data analyst/scientist. My husband is also in tech and works nights and sleeps during the day - so we value a roommate who is mindful of noise levels during daylight hours.
The lifestyle:
Food-centric - my husband is the resident chef. He loves to grill or use his big green egg. He has been known to make pasta from scratch and loves to experiment.
Pet Lovers - We have dogs and a cat, so you must be 'animal people'.
Outdoor Access: We're located right next to the brushy creek grail, perfect if you enjoy walking and hiking.
Atmosphere: Low-key and professional. We're often found cooking, gardening, watching a show or enjoying a quiet evening on the back porch.
What we're looking for: A clean, responsible and independent adult who appreciates a stable living situation. If you're looking for a peaceful 'home base' rather than just a place to crash, you'll fit right in.
