My name is Nicholas. I am 30 years old. I am originally from Austin, Texas, but have been living in the NYC on and off for the past years. I worked the past 5 years of my life as an inner-city schoolteacher and decided to take a break; I am now working as a flight attendant while I am seeking to change careers permanently. I just finished my graduate degree at Columbia and The London School of Economics. I am easy to deal with and want to contribute to the apartment (cleaning, supplies, etc).
My work schedule is constantly changing. I am usually working weekends, and being in the travel industry, physically gone. I am respectful when I have to get up early in the morning to prepare for work. That being said, I don’t find my schedule incompatible with a typical 9-5’er.
I enjoy biking, writing, and running. I am looking for mature roommates (28+, but the older the better). I was just informed by my landlord that he is selling my place, and I will have to leave on relatively short notice.
I am not interested in speaking to realtors. I would prefer to fill in for a roommate that likely moved away in an already-established apartment.
I speak Portuguese (L2) and Spanish (L3), so a bilingual household is fine with me. I am adept with the new/current NYC tenant laws that just came into effect and very wary of housing scams.
I currently live in a 5 bedroom apartment — too many room! I am looking to downsize.
| My maximum monthly budget | 1,100 |
| Move in Date | Jul 2019 |
| Lease Duration | 6 Months |
| Age | 30 |
| Pets | Pet Friendly |
| Hometown | Austin, Tx, Usa |
| Education | Columbia University |
| Relationship Status | Dating |
We think Nicholas would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
