Looking for a roommate in Cambridge, Somerville, Metro Area - Boston

Colleen P - $1,450/month

About Me

Hi! I’ve lived in Cambridge for the past five years and really enjoy the area. I work remotely (sometimes at home, often at coworking spaces/coffee shops) with fairly regular hours, and I travel for work about 1–2 times a month for short (2–3 day) trips, so I’m occasionally out of the apartment.

I’d describe myself as flexible and easy to live with. I’ve shared homes with lots of different kinds of people—from university roommates to people I lived with during my years abroad—so I’m pretty good at adapting to whatever dynamic works best for the household. I enjoy getting to know the people I live with, but I’m equally happy keeping things independent if that’s the vibe.

Day-to-day, I’m organized and considerate of shared spaces, though I’m not overly rigid about cleanliness. I like to cook and always clean up after myself. Most evenings I’m out meeting friends rather than hosting, though I do enjoy putting together a small dinner party about once a quarter (usually just a group of four).

Overall, I value a comfortable, respectful living environment where everyone has their own space but can still get along easily. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new things, and maintaining a good balance between home life and time out in the city.
