I am a 22-year-old recent graduate from CU in Boulder and I grew up in Colorado, so I'm new to NYC. I am non-binary and queer so I am looking for a queer-friendly place! In my spare time I love to read (Fave book: Brave New World by Aldous Huxley), listen to music (Fave Song: Goodie Bag by Still Woozy), watch anime (Fave: Banana Fish) and other tv shows (Fleabag), travel, and spend time outside. I play bass (not well haha) and I am very open to living with musicians and other artists.
I am a pretty quiet person in general and I'm usually out of the house most of the day and I keep to myself to wind down at night. My work hours are usually full time during the day Monday-Friday. And I generally go to bed around midnight and wake up around 7am for work. Weekends I tend to stay up later and sleep in.
I like to call myself an extroverted introvert. I love people and spending time with friends but I also need alone time to recharge. While I am a fairly reserved person, I love to be friends with my roommates. It's nice to hang out with the people you live with!
My ideal roommate(s) is super chill, funny, kind, and conscientious of the people around them! I like to go out every now and then but I'm not a big partier so I would love roommates who are laid-back. I'm comfortable around people who drink and smoke weed, and I love respectful guests and friends! I'd prefer if the place isn't constantly full of people and I'm usually fine with small get-togethers if I know about them beforehand! I am a clean person but not obsessive about it. I like to keep shared areas very clean, do my dishes everyday, and any personal items/messes will stay in my room.
I'm looking to move in either July or August and ideally a 1 year lease
