Hi! My name is Katie and I am moving from Colorado Springs to San Francisco. I'm originally from the East Coast but have definitely adapted to an outdoor lifestyle since I have been living in Colorado. I recently went through a major career transition into the tech industry. I am workaholic but I take full advantage of my free time. I am an avid skier and I am hoping to get into surfing or kite surfing when I move to the west coast. I also love to hike with my big fluffy dog Apollo and take camping trips during the summer. I do love to work out, but I don't work out every day. I am a pretty healthy eater but I'm not a strict dieter. I enjoy most genres of music from classic rock to EDM. I particularly love anything that can be played on record player. It's been a long time since I've lived close to a city so I am looking forward to the variety of foods and entertainment San Francisco has to offer. I am looking for a roommate who is willing to split a 4-5 bedroom house with a back yard and a garage, $5-6K/month for rent total. I would like to put my gym equipment in the garage but I'm happy to share this with a roommate. I'd enjoy checking out breweries together or joining a kickball league with my roommate, but I tend to take my hikes by myself to clear my mind. If you're not used to living with a dog, I may not be a good fit for you. My dog Apollo is absolutely awesome but he is a big 90lb shepherd husky mix. He will cuddle you and love you to pieces but he sheds like a shepherd. I plan to hire a house cleaner to help with the mess because I do tend to keep my house in pristine condition.
