Hey friends,

I’m posting in hopes of finding two awesome people who would like to come cohabitate. 😁 My roommates are moving on, and I am looking for two people to fill our opening rooms!

About me: My name is Peter, I use he/him pronouns, I am a full time barista and team manager for a local coffee company and I work full time outside the home. I love all things theatre and cooking and I’m just out here trying to be more like Ina Garten every day lol. I moved to NYC from Seattle 4 years ago. LGBTQ+ 🌈

About the apartment: Located in Astoria, Queens - 3 bed, 1 bath, second floor apartment in a two story building. The apartment is really spacious and I have enjoyed living here for 3 years already!! 0.5 mile walk from the N/W train at the Astoria-Ditmars station. 20 minute train ride into Manhattan. 2 blocks away from Astoria park which is lovely! Greek neighborhood with tons of good food.

About room 1: One window room near the back of the apartment that comfortably fits a queen bed, desk, dresser etc with additional space available. Very small closet inside the room with an additional hall closet outside the room that would be yours. RENT $775/month + security deposit.

About room 2: Two window room at the back of the apartment next to the bathroom. This is currently my bedroom that you will be taking over. I’ll be moving rooms to switch it up! This room is very spacious and comfortably fits a queen bed, armoire, desk, and a few huge plants with lots of extra room. When people come to visit, we are able to fit a queen sized air mattress next to my bed. Great natural light. No closet in room, but there is a hall closet outside the room that would be yours. RENT $825/month + security deposit.

About what I’m looking for in a roommate: Looking for people who value a clean living space. I like to keep a very clean home and it would be the most ideal living situation if you feel the same way. In an effort to value everyone’s alone time since it can sometimes be difficult to live with two other people, I would love to find people who work outside the home or plan to return to work outside the home post-pandemic. I’m hoping you are: mature, professional, a non-drug user, and enjoyable to live with :)
