Hey!

My name is Araf, I'm moving to NYC and looking for a roommate with a similar lifestyle. I'm 25, and am a student-professional. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, and am moving to NYC for additional studies. (Computer programming)

I'm a private but friendly guy whom is really focused on his goals and living a fulfilling life. I'm an avid reader and am generally a very curious person. If I'm not working, studying, or working, I'm at the gym, reading, playing the violin, or out exploring what NYC has to offer.

*Note: I don't drink, smoke cigarettes, do drugs of any kind, and although fine with a roommate whom does those things outside, will not tolerate a roommate whom brings any of those substances into our home.*

Looking for a roommate of a similar work-driven or goal-driven outlook, whom I can build a relationship with. Not just looking to split rent and ignore each other.

I am very straight-forward and rules focused. In regards to property: what's mine is mine and what's yours is yours. We can discuss chores responsibilities but the common areas will be maintained by us both. Weekdays are a no guest policy except without a prior notice and approval - guests on weekends need no notice. No parties. No loud music except on weekends, and not past 11PM.

Currently I have been admitted into a program beginning late April and ending in July. The program is Monday through Saturday from 9AM to 8PM lasting all 12 weeks. This is a lot of freedom for the other roommate for the first few months. I will only be at home just a few hours out of the day, so I can assure you it will be very quiet for the most of the time you're at home.

***Flexible about some things! Not including substances policy.
*No pets! Except fishes.
