Looking for New Roommates in Albany Park

Hello!

We are looking for two new roommates in our 5 bdrm/2 bath apartment in Albany Park. Move-in 4/1/2022 (one room available 3/15/22.) Rent is $504+utilities(per room.) We are looking for a 5 month commitment (through the end of August 2022.) If you desire to stay longer, there is an option to sign a new lease.

We are a 7 minute walk from the Brown Line, and there is a bus stop steps from the front entrance. No assigned parking, but there is usually street parking within a block or two. Washer/Dryer in unit, dishwasher, back porch, sun room, third floor walk-up. The common areas are furnished, so you’d only need to furnish your own room. If you do have additional furniture, we can discuss accommodating those items. The open rooms are about 12ft x 10ft and each have a closet. Our apartment is pretty big, so it’s a choose your own adventure in terms of how introverted or extroverted you want to be. We have enough space that you can chill or just do your own thing. There are several parks/walking trails nearby and lots of good restaurants in the area.

We have two cats, so please be pet friendly. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any additional pets. We are all in our 30s, employed/students, liberal/left-leaning politically, and fully vaccinated. We split chores and ask that those are done regularly. Please clean up after yourself, be respectful of noise and personal space, and keep open communication. There are often communal sweet/baked treats around. Friends or partners are welcome. For larger get-togethers or guests staying longer than one night, please give everyone a heads up/check-in first. No hard drugs or partiers. We are anti-racists, LGBTQ+ friendly, and 420 friendly.
