My name is Layla (she/they). I’m 23 and a student at Hunter College. I'm a writer, dancer, visual artist, and music lover. Currently living in Bushwick and I'd prefer to stay in the area, but open to Ridgewood, Ocean Hill, Bed-Stuy, and maybe even Astoria/LIC to be closer to school. I'm at school nearly every day this semester, and work nights so you may not see me often. But if you do, I'm pretty friendly!

I'm patient, considerate, and a pretty solid communicator. I like to cook, but only cook once or twice a week. I won't hog the kitchen. I'm clean and enjoy a tidy home. I’m looking for roommates that are similarly clean, courteous, and good communicators. I’d prefer roommates that tend to be on the quiet side and value a peaceful home environment.

That being said, I am solidly an ambivert. I enjoy opening my space to friends and hosting gatherings from time to time, so bonus if we find a place with a nice common area, maybe a rooftop. This is not a deal breaker though.
