Adam H - $950/month

Hey, my name is Adam. I'm originally from Richmond, VA, but moved to Austin a few years ago to grow my company and enjoy the city. I'd describe myself as easy-going, analytical, and adventurous. In my free time I enjoy building projects, fishing, and making music. So far some of my favorite thing to do in Austin are playing kayak polo, taking my car to the off road park, and going on canoe camping/fishing trips.

In terms of routine, I usually head to work around 8 and come back around 6 on weekdays, but am pretty random on the weekends depending on what I have planned. I do try to be respectful about noise and commotion later at night.

I'm a pretty social person and expect to have a few friends and family over occasionally; however, I also sometimes want alone time. I'm open for roommates to host small parties and have people over; however, I don't necessarily want the house to be full of people all the time. On a similar note, I'm not a big fan of dealing with heavy drinkers or large party environments. I'm down to get to know each other and become friends, or stay more separate. It really depends on your preferences.

In terms of cleanliness, I like to keep the common living areas reasonably clean; however, its not a huge priority of mine to keep things one hundred percent sterile and orderly all the time.

Regarding the other inhabitants, I have a cat who has done well with other small animals. He typically minds his own business and will stay out of people's way. I also have a massive 500 gallon half aquarium/terrarium sitting on one side of the living room. It doesn't smell or make a lot of noise, but it is the first thing you see when you enter the house. Hopefully the photos give you an idea of what you'd be dealing with.

Some other relevant information. I do play the saxophone, guitar, and piano so there will be some noise occasionally. I will definitely be respectful and avoid playing if you are working/phone calls/going to sleep though. Regarding home duties, I'd expect to split the load of cutting grass, doing dishes, cleaning, etc.
