Hello! We are looking for another roommate for our home one block from the Mississippi street awesomeness

~Room is available May 1st, deposit and 1st month required to move in
~1 yr length
~Bills range between $50 - $120 per month (depending on if there's a water bill that month) and all are split evenly between all roomies
~Pets in cages welcome (fish, lizards, etc) Sorry, no dogs/cats as there is a cat here already
~No smokers, absolutely no drugs, no heavy drinkers - no exceptions! (well, 420 ok outside only)
~Single-occupancy (no couples)

4BR, 2 full baths, in a great neighborhood. Mississippi street is so convenient with all of the restaurants, food carts, shops, and businesses. The house is an old Victorian beauty built 1905. The kitchen is somewhat updated, there's newer windows, and original wood flooring throughout. Washer/dryer in the basement and storage for bikes/camping gear down there too. In the yard there's a raised garden bed with plenty of room for gardening and a small fire pit.

The available room is an 12' x 14' with high ceilings, wood floors, and there's a small closet. It's big enough for a king bed, a desk, and dressers too. The room is bright and full of light with 3 good sized windows, all south facing - great for plant lovers. This room shares a bathroom with the upstairs room (the other 2 roomies have a separate bathroom that they share)

We are a home that is accepting and supportive of diversity of all kinds. We all pay our bills on time, wash our dishes after we use them, and always clean up after ourselves. There is no chore lists; we just simply take the trash/recycling/compost out if we see it needs done and chip in and buy supplies as needed. We use natural or non-scented cleaning products/laundry soaps and are looking for a roommate who likes that sort of thing too.

About us: A is in her 30's and is a nanny by day and a bartender at a swanky upscale place by night, she enjoys going out with friends when covid is not going on. N is in his 20's and is a multi-talented musician and passionate environmentalist who works in logistics. J is in her 40's and is a yoga enthusiast and nature lover, she works in marketing full time. S is in her 20's and is a jewelry artist/runs an Etsy shop and works in retail full time. She also has a very sweet 2yr old cat, Kitty. Kitty is shy af.

Who we are looking for: Someone who is great at communicating their needs, and is aware of how they affect others. We all have busy work, life, and projects going on that require the support of a peaceful home environment. To support the peace, we have all agreed to keep our socializing out of the house and have all agreed to keep significant other overnight stays to a minimum. This is super easy with Mississippi street so close by! (tons of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, breweries, etc). We are looking for a person who cares about home as a sanctuary, and is looking for a space to retreat/relax/study/work and actively contribute to making home a great space. The socializing out of the house agreement is a normal peaceful home thing, not a temporary covid thing. We'd like a roomie that has a similar busy lifestyle to ours; someone who is stable, works, and has a life outside of the house. Generally a person who is simply pretty quiet when at home. Above all, we are looking for someone who is respectful and willing to talk about any needs; communication is very important.
