I'd like to share a bit about myself, cause roommates have to jive first and foremost, I believe. I spent several years living abroad as a volunteer for an agency that protects child rights. Prior to that, I lived in Long Beach. I'm from San Antonio, but I've spent my adult life outside of Texas. Of course, I enjoy getting to know about different corners of the globe and pockets of creation, but I also enjoy spending time in one place and getting a deeper understanding of that locale's unique culture. So I'm stoked about Austin.

I'm a proudly gay man, which unfortunately bothers some people. And I am definitely social, but I save sociability for the time and place that call for it. I certainly enjoy hosting friends from time to time, but also believe the home is a sacred place where one should cultivate a warm and unwinding space. I'm increasingly physical and active. I enjoy participating in the arts (performance art and improv specifically). I am a philosophical and spiritual person. And I strive to be kind and compassionate. And I'm working on all of the above. I also love to cook. Believe in keeping clean. Prefer natural light whenever possible. And have no problem getting to know my roommates better.
