During the week, I wake up at 6:30 and like to have coffee/breakfast in the kitchen. I work from home on Mondays & Wednesdays, and I work at the office in Chelsea on Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays. After work, I enjoy climbing at Brooklyn Bouldering Project, going for a run around Prospect Park, and going to my weekly choir rehearsal in Brooklyn Heights. On Saturday mornings I go to a yoga class in Crown Heights, but other than that I like to keep my weekends open wherever possible (unless I am out of town). I spend a couple nights a week at my boyfriend's apartment in Prospect Heights. Similarly, he sleeps over at my place a couple nights a week. When the weather is nice, I like to hang out on the outdoor deck, which has an entrance through my roommate's bedroom.
I'm looking for a roommate who wants to be friends at home, but we don't necessarily need to be best friends outside of the house. I'd love to have someone who is comfortable eating meals together in a shared space (as opposed to eating in the bedroom :,), and who would want to watch the occasional movie / TV show together when we are both available. Please note - my current roommate has two cats. I will do my best to clean the apartment of any cat hair / litter remnants after she moves out, but I would suggest that if you have a severe allergy this might not be the place for you. I am not looking to live with pets after my current roommate moves out.
I would love to meet you and see if we're a good fit! Ideally I would like to find someone who can commit by the end of March so that I can let my landlord know. Thanks and good luck with your search!
