Film Festival worker looking for a roommate for spacious, private bedroom. Room can come fully furnished for low price. I am pretty laid back and neat, ideally looking for someone similar. I do also travel somewhat frequently, so there are likely periods where you may feel like you're living alone rather than sharing the space.
I watch movies and television for both work and leisure. I also enjoy reading, especially in the local parks when the weather is nice.
I tend to be a bit of a night owl, but am mindful of roommate's schedules and typically spend those later hours in my room reading/watching/listening to something quietly.
I love candles and diffusers, mostly of earthy varieties rather than flowery scents.
In terms of shared use items (paper products, common area soaps, etc.) I tend to not be a stickler for tracking who buys what, so long as things feel relatively equitable in terms of everyone contributing as needs arise.

| Lease Duration | 3 Months |
| Age | 33 |
| Occupation | Film Festival Liaison |
| Hometown | Northern Virginia |
| Education | Ba In English From Fordham Univeristy |

We think Patrick’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…

Film Festival worker looking for a roommate for spacious, private bedroom. Room can come fully furnished for low price. Apartment includes a small living room, small kitchen, and small third room which serves as a shareable home office/gym with stationary bike, plus a shared hall closet (which honestly I barely use.) Lived in this apartment for 8 years, so good relationship with the super and strong familiarity with the neighborhood. I am pretty laid back and neat, ideally looking for someone similar. I do also travel somewhat frequently, so there are likely periods where you may feel like you're living alone rather than sharing the space.
Lived in the neighborhood for 11 years.
Tons of restaurant and bar options within walking distance (starting at the corner of the block.)
2 minute walk to the B/C train at 110th Street. 8 minute walk to the 1 or 2/3 trains at 110th street.
Grocery store around the corner, with several other within walkable distance.
Very convenient to get to LaGuardia by bus. 15-20 minutes to get to Moynihan Train Hall/Penn Station or Port Authority via subway.
Central Park is a 2 minute walk, as is Morningside Park. Riverside Park is a 12 minute walk away.
The neighborhood is primarily a mix of lifetime residents and Columbia University students, so there is a strong sense of community. The neighborhood feels relatively quiet for Manhattan, but allows you quick access to midtown, downtown, and uptown if you're looking to change your scenery or spend a livelier night out.
