Hey everyone!

My roommates and I are looking for someone to take over a bedroom in our perfect 4 BEDROOM 3 BATHROOM. The lease will begin on October 1st and be for a year. The rent is $1000 per month plus utilities which never run too high.
First and security up front.

THE APARTMENT/ YOUR ROOM:

Fully renovated, laundry IN UNIT, all new appliances and lots of light. The living room is huge and fully furnished! The kitchen is amazing with a dishwasher! It is on Riverside Drive and has great views of the river and park!

Heat and hot water included. Electric and internet is split 4 ways. We have a bi-weekly cleaning service to keep the place nice and neat which is great for us since we are all so busy.

Right next to 1 train and M4 bus
10 minute walk to the ACBD Trains

Your bedroom is quite large. The current roommate fits a Queen size bed, two separate large bookshelves, a comfortable chair, a dresser, a really nice full size mirror, and some extra few things.You will only have to share a bathroom with one person (myself) and it’s never been a problem in the 3+ years we’ve lived here!

Room can come furnished with whatever you see in the pictures (if you want) for an extra cost. Also, pardon the messy pictures - the current tenant has been out of town since the pandemic began.

First and Security up front!
Will also need to be approved by the building but since we already live here we don't see it being a problem. Guarantors welcome.

THE AREA:
The apartment is right across the street from the amazing Riverbank State Park. Many sports fields, a full track, an ice rink in the winter, and you can grill in the summer! It is a 5 minute walk from both the 137th and 145th street 1 stop. This area is becoming very popular. Amazing restaurants keep popping up and there are some great local bars. Some we love are The Honeywell, ROKC and At the Wallace.

ABOUT US:

We are three roommates all in our late 20s/early 30s, creative-types who have stable jobs. One works for the Cooper Hewitt Museum, one works for Scholastic, and I am an aspiring actor who works for Apple. Some of us like to cook and some of us don't. We are cool hanging with each other but definitely appreciate having our own space. Honestly, before COVID, sometimes it felt like I lived alone because we were all so busy and barely crossed paths. LGBTQ+ friendly, 420 friendly. Just not “bring the party home every night” friendly.

We have one lady feline who is a lovely independent woman and enjoys her time sitting on windowsills or hanging on the couch.

COVID: We are all currently trying to be as safe as possible during these turbulent times. We don’t want to bring the virus home and get others infected. That being said, we want to make sure whoever moves in will treat this the same way meaning NO ANTI MASKERS.

ABOUT YOU:

Must be LGBTQ+ friendly. BLM for sure. Must be cool with us having the occasional dinner party. Have mutual respect and be friendly and we'll all get along fine. We really want a drama-free zone. Since we already have one cat, we aren't too keen on others. A dog may be ok. We can always discuss. Must be ready to pay first month's rent and one month deposit.
