Spacious bedroom with/private bath in Allston

Hello! We are looking for a new roommate to join our spacious Allston apartment for a 1-year lease renewal from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027. We have some flexibility around move in date beyond just September 1st if needed.
The room is the largest bedroom in the apartment and comes with a large closet, your own bathroom with a shower, and a parking spot if you need one.
Rent is $1,700/month. Move-in requires first and last month's rent, plus buying out previous tenants security deposit. Water is included, and utilities (gas, electricity, and WiFi) are split evenly, usually totaling around $100–200/month depending on the season.
In-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and central A/C and heat with individual temperature controls in each room. We're on the third floor (no elevator), and the building has a very responsive on-site property manager and maintenance team.

A little about us: we're both in our late 30s, one graduate student and one working professional. We like having a balance between hanging out and having our own space. We try to keep the shared spaces tidy, while also understanding that sometimes dishes sit in the sink for a bit. We're LGBTQ+ and *** friendly, and we'd especially love to connect with femme or non-binary folks. Friendship is always welcome, but never expected.
We also have two incredibly sweet 3-year-old cats, Peanut Butter and Honey. They're playful, cuddly, and very friendly, so unfortunately we can't accommodate any additional pets.
The location is great, with easy access to the 57, 64, and 66 bus lines, about a 10-minute walk to the Green Line, around a 10-minute walk to Star Market, and lots of great food nearby.
