Looking for female or male roommate in their mid-late twenties/early 30's to fill bedroom in an Upper East Side apt. Myself and my current roommate have been living here for years. Looking for someone to sign a one year lease beginning on September 1st, 2020. Can arrange for an earlier move in if needed.

The room is a really great space! Very quiet, private, window, two closets and lots of room for storage. Feels like you have your own apt with layout of the unit. This is a third floor walk-up in a five story building. The super is young and friendly and lives in the building right next door. There are a mix of ages in the building, (although mostly young professionals) which is nice to see. Close to Q train, 4,5,6 train, Carl Schurz Park.

*Please note entryway and kitchen will be getting a brand new floor!

Current Roomie: Early 30's. Professional. She is quiet, considerate and enjoys dance. Pre Covid - she was always running in and out of the apartment taking classes, rehearsals, gigs, etc.

About the area:
Very safe, tons of restaurants, shopping, bars, grocery stores, Q,4,5,6 trains super close by!

About you: smoke free, no drugs, no pets, no parties, professional, employed, considerate of the other people you live with, clean, can sign 1 year lease, get along with people, "Positive Pam" (no "Negative Nancys" please!), financially stable.

Financials:

Rent will be $1,292.50 starting September 1st, 2020

If you would like to move in before September 1st, 2020, this can be arranged.

Security deposit of $1292.50 is needed before you receive the keys. (So that is 1 month's rent + 1 month's security to move in).

Furniture that is currently in the room is up for sale if you'd like to move into a room that is fully furnished. This includes a full size bed, large dresser, air conditioner and TV).
